Hi all, Just a quick message regarding the latest changes to discord regarding the UK Laws taken effect this month. **K-ID** - discord's choice for Id verification is processing the UK age verification data on Singapore servers, uploading, transporting, and storing ID documents, and sensitive data - with no public policy to delete the Personal Identifying Information. **K-ID** (as with all identity providers) is currently being investigated by the UK's ICO (GDPR watchdog). **K-ID** is also a re-seller of "faceassure"'s product, which powers AI facial scanning. **We highly recommend using the "manual review" to safeguard your data** - This forces your data to be stored by discord instead of a Singapore company. Choosing the manual review, not only helps safeguard the data by forcing discord to store it instead of a relatively unknown third party, but also forces discord to acknowledge the issue.
